The Poltergeist 80 is a crash diver engineered to plunge hard and fast on the turn of the handle.
Cast it toward tight structure and sharp drop-offs, then work it with steady retrieves to keep it diving deep-it will regularly contact bottom and re-dive aggressively, triggering reaction strikes from fish holding in deeper zones.
When trolling, this lure excels along drop-offs, transitioning from shallow ground into deeper water. Maintain a trolling speed of 0.5-3 knots and let the lure's shuffling swim action work around rock bars and ledges.
The 17g weight and crash-dive design mean it reaches depth quickly, maximising contact time with structure-holding fish.
