How to work it
The Trojan is a short-cut face pusher designed to run in a trolling spread, so deploy it towed behind a moving boat at trolling speed.
As a small pusher it earns its place in a generic spread, working hard to push water and throw a smoke trail that draws strikes.
Set it in any of the standard spread positions - long or short corner, outrigger, or shotgun - and let the face do the work as the boat pulls it along the surface.
Rig it with a 9/0-10/0 hook and 300lb-400lb leader to match the class of fish it attracts.
Don't be fooled by its size: this lure has accounted for blue marlin over 500lb and a 650lb bluefin tuna, and it draws strikes from a wide range of species.
Keep an eye on it in the pattern and be ready for aggressive bites.
