The Merlin is a trolled game lure deployed in the spread behind a moving boat at trolling speed. Its floating, surface-running design and tight action make it effective in a long corner or shotgun position where it can work the upper water column and draw strikes from aggressive fish.

The cut-face tube design creates a compact, enticing profile; simply set the lure in the water and maintain steady trolling speed.

The 270mm skirted body and 8/0-9/0 hook are rigged on 200-400 lb leader - heavier traces suit rougher conditions or larger, more aggressive fish.
