The Black Magic® Gimbal Plate with Bent Butt Adaptor is expertly designed for compatibility with both straight and bent butt rods. For straight butt rods, the rear pin within the gimbal recess ensures a secure and interference-free fit, offering full range of motion during use.

When fishing with bent butt rods, the included Bent Butt Adaptor—secured with a single screw to the gimbal plate—repositions the pin to the front of the plate. This design prevents the rod from contacting the gimbal plate when lifted, maintaining smooth functionality.

Available in Extra Large and Standard sizes, this adaptable setup is ideal for anglers seeking versatility and reliability in their fishing tackle.
