The Atomic Plazos Bass Grub excels on finesse retrieves through bass habitat.

Work it slowly along weed edges and timber with a lift-drop cadence, or crawl it along the bottom with minimal rod movement-the ribbed body generates micro-vibrations that draw strikes even when bass are reluctant. Its deep-bodied profile imitates small baitfish, making it effective on light spinning or baitcasting tackle in clear to moderately stained water.

Slow rolling through deeper drains and around structure is another productive approach. Keep tension on the line to feel the lure's subtle pulsing action, and pause frequently to let it settle naturally.
