About this rod

The TFO Elevare Fly Rod is a premium 4-piece Euro nymphing tool engineered for advanced tight-line tactics on New Zealand's technical freestone rivers and demanding backcountry streams. Built with a high-modulus carbon fibre blank, it delivers the extreme sensitivity required to detect the subtlest trout takes while providing the backbone needed to protect light tippets under heavy loads.

  • High-Modulus Blank – Delivers ultra-lightweight responsiveness and precision for accurate tight-line drifts.
  • REC Black Pearl Recoil Guides – Crush-resistant and frictionless guides that minimise physical weight and ensure smooth line management.
  • Down-Locking Reel Seat – Perfectly balances your Euro nymphing setup to drastically reduce wrist fatigue.
  • Ultra-Lightweight Profile – Every model in the lineup weighs under 3oz, preserving your energy during long days of repetitive mending.
  • Tailored Grip Design – Features premium cork grips to deliver maximum comfort and control when battling hard-fighting river fish.
  • 4-Piece Construction – Breaks down effortlessly for convenient transport into remote fishing locations inside the included protective case.
