A barbless single hook exclusively for spoons for area fishing. We have pursued perfect hooking performance and resistance to slipping away by thoroughly studying the hooking mechanism when spooning at managed fishing grounds. The eye (about 15°) and hook point position slightly up from normal, the unique gape shape, and the barbless hook allow the hooking power to be transmitted smoothly to the hook point without loss. Furthermore, the shape is a perfect match not only for reeling spoons, but also for vertical fishing spoons. The upturned eye keeps the point facing upwards in the cup, and the unique bent shape holds the lure securely and prevents it from slipping away.
