GLADIUS® squid rods are purpose-built for the unique demands of squid fishing in New Zealand and Australia. Designed with precision and care, they offer impressive casting distance, sensitivity, and control—giving you the edge when it counts.
Crafted in Japan, each rod features a high-performance 40-tonne graphite blank, FUJI® reel seat, ALPS™ guides, and quality EVA grips. A built-in hook keeper and the option of a high-vis white tip make it just as practical as it is refined—especially for night missions.
This light-medium action model is ideal for casting smaller and lighter Squid Snatchers®. Perfectly suited to landbased EGI fishing.
