The Tide Minnow Lance 140S is a 140mm, 25.5g sinking minnow engineered for distance casting and stable swimming action, even when punching into strong onshore winds. Its tungsten moving weight system ensures reliable flight posture and stress-free casting in all conditions.
Working in the 0.5–1m range, the 140S delivers a refined wobble-and-roll action that mimics natural baitfish. It responds instantly to rod twitches with a sharp dart, making it equally effective when retrieved steadily or worked with pauses and jerks.
In New Zealand conditions, the 140S shines when chasing predators locked on mid-sized baitfish. It’s deadly on kahawai smashing schools in surf zones, snapper hunting in the shallows, kingfish cruising current lines, and trevally feeding in estuaries or harbours. A versatile minnow for inshore and coastal casting.
