The Spearhead Ryuki 70S is a 70mm, 9g sinking minnow designed for bigger rivers, fast flows, and deep runs where trout are feeding. Its flat-sided body and fixed weight design provide excellent stability and responsiveness, even in powerful currents.
The semi-long lip gives a strong water bite, allowing the lure to dig in quickly and maintain a crisp, natural wobble-roll. It casts long and true, and responds instantly to twitches or pauses, letting you work it with precision in complex current seams.
In New Zealand, the 70S is ideal for big browns and rainbows in larger rivers, hydro canals, and deep pools where smaller lures canāt hold their line. It reliably tracks mid-depth to bottom, making it a go-to when fish are holding deep but still chasing baitfish.
